Radon is a colorless, odorless, tasteless radioactive gas. Radon gas is the decay product of radium which is found at low concentrations in almost all rock and soil. Radon is the leading cause of lung cancer in non-smokers. It kills 21,000 people annually.

We exclusively use Femto-Tech pulsed ion chamber continuous radon monitors. They are low power precision airborne alpha radiation detection instruments. The monitors are placed in each lowest livable level of the home. A home with a full basement would require 1 monitor. A home with a basement and a crawl space would require 2 monitors. Home with additions would require additional monitors. The monitors stay for a minimum of 48 hours and results are available immediately.
